Along with her extensive training in intensive medicine, Selena Anderson, FNP-C draws praise from her patients for her thorough communication and compassionate bedside manner. Selena cares for patients at Atlantic Coast Physical Medicine in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
After completing her undergraduate studies in biology from the College of Charleston, she went to Trident Technical College in Charleston and earned an associate degree in nursing. She went on to complete a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in nursing, both from Kaplan University in Columbia, South Carolina.
Throughout her graduate studies, Selena specialized in family medicine, so she could focus her career on her passion of caring for people of all ages. Selena has an extensive background working in acute care and cardiac intensive care, and she is nationally certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Selena spends time away from the clinic by serving her neighborhood. She strives to promote the nursing profession by volunteering in underserved communities. Her dedication to food drives benefiting East Cooper Community Outreach helps countless families. Selena is currently accepting new patients.
